Saving Progress

The Saving Progress feature in STPro Actor allows users to save their character customization work during the actor creation process.

Saving regularly is important because unsaved changes are not permanently stored and may be lost when leaving the project, refreshing the page, or making certain customization changes.

Saving Progress helps users:

  • Preserve customization work
  • Prevent accidental data loss
  • Continue projects later
  • Maintain character configurations
  • Secure actor creation progress

Character creation often involves multiple customization steps, including:

  • Head selection
  • Body selection
  • Clothing customization
  • Makeup adjustments
  • Skin color selection
  • Pose configuration

Saving ensures these changes remain available when the project is reopened.

To save an actor project:

  1. Complete the desired character customizations.
  2. Locate the Save option in the actor workspace.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Wait for the save process to complete.
  5. Continue editing or close the project safely.

Users are encouraged to save progress frequently.

Recommended times include:

  • After selecting a head style
  • After choosing a body type
  • After applying clothing
  • After modifying makeup
  • Before changing major configurations
  • Before leaving the project
  • Before rendering the character

Customization changes appear instantly in the preview area.

However, preview updates do not automatically save the project.

Users must manually save their work to ensure changes are preserved.

Unsaved changes may be lost in situations such as:

  • Browser refresh
  • Browser crash
  • Internet interruption
  • Closing the project
  • Opening another project
  • Certain customization changes during editing

Note

Users should save progress regularly while creating actors.

If progress is not saved, character customizations may reset to previously saved settings or default values when the project is reopened.

After saving, users should:

  • Confirm the save action completed successfully
  • Continue editing if needed
  • Reopen the project later to verify saved changes

Regular verification helps ensure project integrity.

Saving and rendering are separate actions.

  • Saving stores character customization progress.
  • Rendering generates the final actor output.

Users should save their work before starting the rendering process.

The Saving Progress feature provides:

  • Protection against data loss
  • Better project management
  • Flexible editing workflows
  • Improved user experience
  • Reliable actor creation

For effective project management:

  • Save frequently during customization
  • Save before major changes
  • Save before rendering
  • Save before closing the browser
  • Verify saved progress periodically

These practices help maintain a smooth actor creation workflow.

The Saving Progress feature allows users to preserve character customization work throughout the actor creation process. Regular saving helps prevent data loss, protects project progress, and ensures actors can be edited, rendered, and reused efficiently.
